Come and see our fleet of 20 heritage trams at the Melbourne Tram Museum, during our special mid-week open day on Wednesday 25 September 2019, from 11am to 3pm.

Catch our two special exhibitions:

  • Transporting Art – showcasing forty years of Melbourne’s art trams, 1978-2018
  • Wattle Park: picnic by tram.

And don’t forget to say hello to Spike the Safety Rhino.

Admission is by gold coin donation.

The museum entrance is on the City (western) end of the depot building.

Two-hour car parking is available at the Wallen Road Reserve car park next to the depot (towards the city).

If travelling by tram, take route 70 or 75 to stop 29 (Riversdale Junction) at the intersection of Riversdale Road, Power Street and Wallen Road. From the tram stop, walk down Wallen Road beside the depot to the museum entrance at the western end of the building.
