Colourful new addition to the fleet at the Melbourne Tram Museum
After eight years tucked away from the public, Z1 81 ‘Karachi W11’ arrived at the Melbourne Tram Museum very early on the morning of 19 June 2015. It was towed from Preston Workshops by an A class tram, escorted by heavy tram recovery truck R10.
We are proud to present this extravagantly decorated tram to our visitors, and thank Yarra Trams and VicTrack for placing this unique vehicle into our collection.
